We are currently recruiting a FOH Manager to join Layered Reality™ at our newest upcoming experience (to be announced). This will be a layered reality multi-sensory experience, combining music, immersive theatre, digital technology, motion simulators and 5D effects. We are the Future Of Entertainment!
Position Summary
The FOH Manager is an essential role in ensuring we deliver this cutting-edge experience at the optimal level to all guests. On a daily basis, the role manages a Front of House & Bar team to ensure that the Guest Services in the venue are executed at the highest level. The FOH Manager pays close attention to all operational details to ensure the comfort, safety and enjoyment of guests and job satisfaction of their team, as well as the financial success of the department.
Scope & Responsibilities
Managing the FOH department you are responsible for performing a variety of duties, whilst ensuring that service delivery is smooth, efficient and memorable. Responsibilities include; managing team scheduling, taking merchandise inventory, reordering stock, managing budgets and ensuring that all operations meet Health & Safety standards. You will be working with management to identify and develop value added products and services to enhance the guest experience and drive sales.
Background & Experience
You will be a highly self-motivated, service focused individual, with a wide variety of experience working across the arts, leisure or hospitality industry and be passionate about ticketing, merchandising and experience delivery. Previous experience managing FOH operation within immersive experiences, theatres or visitor attractions is preferable.
Desired Attributes
Minimum two years experience in a supervisory/management role
To form part of the Duty Management team
Ability to take initiative and remain calm under pressure
Highly organised with good attention to detail
Exceptional communication and leadership skills
Experience delivering training to staff
Passionate about the hospitality industry
Ability to develop and sustain great relationships
Driver of sales, events and in-house promotions
Experience working with and updating Epos Till Systems
Flexible (evening and weekend work will be required)
