We are currently recruiting a Performance Manager to join Layered Reality™ at our newest upcoming experience (to be announced). This will be a layered reality multi-sensory experience, combining music, immersive theatre, digital technology, motion simulators and 5D effects. We are the Future Of Entertainment!

Position Summary

The Performance Manager will be an essential role in the show operations, working in the BOH department. On a daily basis this role ensures that the cast are able to deliver all live aspects of the show, so that our guests have the best experience possible. During this time, you are also responsible for information flow of show elements to both cast and crew, so strong communication skills are key.

Scope & Responsibilities

During show operations you will take ownership of BOH Department, whilst co-ordinating and assisting the cast and team members in their duties. You will also support the management team ensuring cast are briefed and have everything required to complete each show. The Company Manager will prepare the site for venue/show opening and complete closing procedures at the end of the night. Additional responsibilities include co-ordinating cast scheduling, conducting walk throughs, safety tours, casting and rehearsing actors, training new team members, liaising with the Associate Director on script amendments/updates and providing support relief to the technical team. You will also be required to support the live operations as the Duty Manager when required.

Background & Experience

You will be a highly self-motivated, with a wide variety of experience working in theatre or immersive experiences. Previous experience working in the events and entertainment industries is desirable.

Desired Attributes

Minimum three years’ experience in a management position.

To form part of the Duty Management team when required.

Skills and knowledge to manage Cast & BOH operations.

Clear understanding and experience of health & safety management.

Ability to take initiative and remain calm under pressure.

Exceptional communication and leadership skills.

100% Flexible (evening and weekend work will be required).
