Position Summary As a pivotal member of our management team, you will embody the essence of Layered Reality, spending 90% of your time in the Front of House (FOH) department. This dynamic role encompasses a wide array of responsibilities, ensuring every day brings new challenges and opportunities. Your primary responsibilities include duty management of live operations and equipping our teams with the tools they need to excel in their roles and consistently deliver excellent customer service. You will play a vital role in driving sales across the venue, motivating the team to effectively upsell products and continually enhance the overall guest experience.
Scope & Responsibilities Your diverse tasks will encompass venue and show opening and closing, box office administration, efficient management of team schedules and breaks, thorough completion of show reports, onboarding of new FOH & Bar team members, and effective oversight of stock in both the bar and retail areas. In addition, you will take the be part of radio communications during live operations, promoting interdepartmental communication flow and swift resolution of any arising issues. With a key focus on operational excellence and commercial profitability, you will ensure consistent achievement of performance targets while maintaining consistently high guest review ratings. You will lead and develop your onsite teams, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in their roles and deliver exceptional service to our guests.
Background Experience You will be a highly self-motivated individual, with a variety of experience working in customer facing roles. Previous management or supervisory experience in hospitality, theatre, events, or visitor attractions is preferable.
